Ladoga is the second largest freshwater lake in Europe. The first place takes Baikal Lake which is also located in Russia and considers the deepest lake in the world! Ladoga Lake is located in the city area and Karelian region (former Finland) at the same time and this is where the Neva River stems from! This lake is so unique that we can rightfully consider it to be one of the most precious natural sites in Russia.
Amazing views, great company, sunny weather were accompanied by local Russian food (such as salo, pickles mushrooms, smoked fish etc) and cold vodka shots, of course!
